"TAKE ME BACK TO BEALE" is CFA Productions' first independent film (DOCU-DRAMA), featuring 70 graduates from the Acting Classes at Carolyn's Finishing Academy.

"TAKE ME BACK TO BEALE" is a musical, dramatic (DOCU-DRAMA) presentation of a 100-year history of Beale Street, featuring all of the jazz, blues, and the dynamic culture of the people that made Beale Street the birthplace of the Blues.

Produced as a trilogy, this epic film chronicles (1901-2001) the lives and struggles of ordinary people, as well as celebrities such as Ma' Rainey, Bessie Smith, Memphis Minnie, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald, B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Bobby Blue Bland, Elvis Presley, and many others.

In 2003, "TAKE ME BACK TO BEALE" was submitted to the Indie-Memphis Film Festival and was selected to play at the Muvico Theaters in Peabody Place; Memphis, Tennessee.

In the Indie-Memphis Festival, the film received honorable mention for "standing room only" audience attendance.

"TAKE ME BACK TO BEALE" was also submitted to the Media Co-op Film Festival in Memphis, Tenn. and was selected to play at the Congo Theater; Memphis, Tennessee.  Again, the movie played to standing-room-only audiences.

"TAKE ME BACK TO BEALE" is currently under consideration to run in the HOLLYWOOD FILM FESTIVAL in L.A.!

Also,  "TAKE ME BACK TO BEALE" is tentatively scheduled to show this coming Fall, at the NEW DAISY THEATER on BEALE STREET!

In addition, the CLARKSDALE BLUES MUSEUM has requested "TAKE ME BACK TO BEALE" to run in one of their showcases!
